This user agreement is a contract between you and PayPal, Inc. for the use of your PayPal account and PayPal services. It applies only to accounts PayPal United States. If you are an individual, you must reside in the United States or one of their territories and be at least 18 years of age or be of the age of majority in your country of residence to open a U.S. PayPal account and use the services PayPal. If you are a business, the business must be organized in the United States or one of its territories, be active or resident to open a U.S. PayPal account and use the services PayPal. In conjunction with managerial payments, as described in Section 13, we may also restrict users` access to funds based on the factors described in the payment terms. You can agree with a seller who agrees PayPal to use PayPal as a payment method for future purchases with that seller. This agreement exists between you and the seller and allows you to pay the seller in a unique, recurring or sporadic way. Examples of automatic payments that you can arrange with either a seller or with PayPal are those that call PayPal a „billing agreement,“ a „subscription,“ a „recurring payment,“ a „reference transaction,“ a „pre-authorized transfer“ or a „pre-authorized payment.“ The data protection legislation that may apply includes all the rules, regulatory requirements and codes of conduct that apply to the provision of the services described in this agreement. If you are dealing with personal data from Europe in accordance with this agreement, you must comply with Directive 95/46/EC or the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) 2016/679.
We may provide catalog and/or product data (including images, descriptions and specifications) provided by third parties (including eBay users). If your payment is financed by a debit or credit card and PayPal deems it necessary to convert currencies, you accept and authorize PayPal to convert the currency instead of your debit or credit card issuer. You may have the right for your card issuer to make the currency conversion, if this applies to the card issuer and the network. The choice of monetary preferences can be submitted to you in various forms, including a selection of the currency used for the transaction, whether PayPal or your card issuer makes the conversion or what conversion rate is used for the transaction, and can be provided individually for each card and for each automatic payment agreement.
